Welcome!

My name is Michael Krpan—pronounced (Ker-Pin). I’ve heard just about every variation, so don’t worry if you had a creative guess!

I was born in Georgia to a German mother and a military father, giving me a childhood enriched by both European and American cultures. This upbringing sparked a lifelong love for travel, which has remained a constant throughout my life. Most recently, I completed a contract with Disney Cruise Line, where I performed while traveling across Europe. This incredible experience allowed me to visit 14 countries and explore 43 cities, blending my passion for performance with my love of exploration.

My journey into the arts wasn’t immediate. As a child, I tried almost every sport imaginable, from hockey to tennis. While I enjoyed them, I felt something was missing. That’s when my choir and drama teachers nudged me toward theatre, and everything clicked. Acting became my passion, and singing became my outlet. This love for performance led me to pursue a degree in Musical Theatre Performance at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, where I graduated in May 2023.

Theatre, for me, is more than performance—it’s a chance to invite others into a world of imagination, to pause reality and share the magic of storytelling. None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of my family and friends, to whom I’m endlessly grateful.
